Out Boulder County, and First Congregational Church of Boulder with support from First United Methodist Church of Boulder, PFLAG Boulder County and Cairn Christian Church’ are happy to present Amber Cantorna on March 14th at 7pm.
In her memoir, Refocusing My Family, Amber Cantorna unveils what it was like to be raised in one of the most anti-gay religious
organizations still in existence today and how coming out as gay shunned her from the family she loved and burdened her with a degree of devastation that nearly took her life. With grace and transparency, Amber’s book sheds light on the harm that religious and family rejection reeks on the human soul, and offers to LGBTQ people and their religious families, a better way to love.
Suggested donation at the door of $10 to $20 in support of this evening and all OBC Faith programming. (no one will be turned away)
