The Dinah Announces Headliners for All-Womxn Music Fest

The Dinah has officially announced the headliners for their infamous all-girl music fest—hear hear! The iconic blowout for LGBTQ womxn is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and what better way to do so than partying all week with some of the biggest stars and queer performers in the world!

This year’s festival boasts an epic slate of Top Ten Billboard headliners, rising pop stars, and celebrities. Party planner and producer-extraordinaire Mariah Hanson is promising to give us all the fabulously wild, good times we’ve been lacking for the past year and a half—and she has not disappointed.

Kicking off the stellar list is Grammy award-winning artist Macy Gray, who’ll be headlining the Dinah Holiday Party on Saturday, October 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Her trademark rasp and soul has earned the triple-platinum singer her title as a 21st century icon. She’s collaborated with countless artists in the music world, from Ariana Grande to Galactic, and we are so lucky to witness her grace The Dinah stage.

Joining Gray at the Holiday Party will be fellow Grammy-recipient Yung Baby Tate. Hot on the heels of her 2020 EP drop After The Rain, the genre-bending artist will now be bringing her unique, empowering style to Club Skirts. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that Tate will perform her standout track I Am with beloved rapper Flo Milli as part of her set!

Taking the stage at the Black and White Ball on Friday, October 1, is actress, singer, songwriter, performer, and dancer MK xyz. After shooting to fame with her hit “Pass it” featuring G-Eazy, MK released her EP titled “Sweet Spot” this past spring and has just been cast on Netflix’s upcoming vampire series “First Kill.” She’s a major star on the rise!

And finally, nonbinary artist and actor Kat Cunning will be lighting up the Girl Spot Pool Party on Friday, October 1. Their powerful vocals will turn up the heat while you splash and sway to the beat! Cunning recently released the hit single “Boys” which Billboard called “a life-affirming new single that deserves your attention” and Alternative Press heralded as “the perfect track to start off Pride month.” Who could be more perfect for The Dinah???

In addition to the slate of chart-topping pop stars, The Dinah will also feature up-and-coming talent as part of their Emerging Artist Contest. The contest was created to offer womxn and nonbinary musicians coveted stage time and exposure, and has jumpstarted the careers of so many artists in the past! This year, Boi Band and Smeared Lipstick will respectively headline the opening and closing parties at AsiaSF Palm Springs.
