JAWNY has always allowed his music to evolve alongside the progression of his personal development. His sights are set on the future with this new album, his musical journey continuously transforming under the same intuition which has guided his career thus far. From age 6, JAWNY has been jamming with his dad, the two sharing in their love for rock ‘n’ roll bands like the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.

When he was 13, JAWNY joined forces with his brother to release tracks on SoundCloud, and at age 20, JAWNY set off solo to create his own personal sound under the name Johnny Utah. Since then his career has soared, landing him a place at Interscope Records where he was able to release projects, For Abby and The Story of Hugo, two prime examples of his talent as a storyteller and a pioneer in the realm of experimental media.

JAWNY received national attention after his virtual hit “Honeypie” released in 2019. The song is certified Gold in the U.S. and Diamond in Mexico. He traveled and toured the U.K. alongside Beck this last summer and is now returned to North America to headline an extravagant tour with Wallice as his opener.

Since his release of The Story of Hugo, JAWNY has sold out shows across the U.S. and has since been nominated as one of Vevo DSCVR’s Artists To Watch 2022.

Tickets for JAWNY’s Denver show at Meow Wolf are sold out, but tickets are still available for many of his other U.S. shows. You can also check out JAWNY’s prior releases and other smash hits like “fall in love,” “true,” “wide-eyed,” “adios,” and strawberry chainsaw.
