George Santos’ Drag Persona, Kitara Ravache, on Cameo

In a move no one needed but we’re getting anyway, George Santos is bringing back his drag persona, Kitara Ravache, on Cameo.

Santos announced the return of Kitara Ravanche on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Y’all weren’t ready for this drop? I’ve decided to bring Kitara out of the closet after 18 years! for a limited time & with 20% of the proceeds going to @Tunnel2Towers & @TheFellowship. Book your Kitara @BookCameo on the link below!”

His tweet claims two nonprofit organizations will receive 20% of the proceeds. However, both organizations say they have not engaged with Santos or his team and learned of potential donations through his tweet.

The ex-congressman’s acknowledgment and appreciation of Ravanche is particularly important, as Santos previously denied doing drag, calling accusations “categorically false.” Kitara Ravache was brought to the public when Eula Rochard, a Brializian Drag Queen, posted images of Santos in drag. This was one of many instances of Santos lying or fabricating his personal history, to which he says he may have “embellished” his resume.

Santos’ fabrication of personal and professional history and campaign finance violations lead to his removal from Congress. He was the sixth person to be expelled from the U.S. Congress based on his misconduct, shortly after he received 23 federal charges in October 2023. 

He attempted and failed to regain a congressional seat as an independent.

Soon after he was expelled, Santos joined the celebrity site Cameo. Cameo allows fans to buy videos of a celebrity speaking to them, commonly with a specific prompt of what to say. Santos quickly became very popular on Cameo and raised his prices due to demand. He claims he made more on Cameo in 48 hours than he would in Congress over a year.

Now, for $350, anyone can receive a cameo video from the ex-Congressmans Drag persona Kitara Ravache.

After announcing Kitara’s revival, Santos tweeted, “I just single-handedly made the left hate drag queens lol.” No Santos, other drag queens are fine, we just aren’t going to be Kitara stans.
