George Santos Life Filled With Lies May Soon Be a Movie

George Santos is the drama that just keeps on giving.

Following his recent explosion from the U.S. House of Representatives, HBO films is now planning on making a film based on Mark Chiusano’s book The Fabulist, a book based on George Santos released earlier this month.

The film will a follow a story line similar to that of George Santos campaign in New York. Just like Santos, the film will tell the story with a minor, locally based election that became the world’s most famous and eventually most despised congressman. In other words, this story will tell the story of a messy congressman but in a more organized fashion.

In a 311-114 vote, Santos was ousted from his position in congress over several accusations of campaign fraud. In the past, Santos admitted to lying about major parts of life throughout his campaign in New York. The most recent accusation that costed him his job was being found guilty of using campaign funds illegally. Santos was using these funds for personal leisure such as cosmetic botox treatments and Onlyfans.

When you go against your own community and find excuses to everything, karma is a pretty hefty tool. And karma in fact came in hard.

What makes this even more entertaining is that he went on to defensively say, “Why would I want to stay here? To hell with this place,” a statement that was made in embarrassment, especially when a lot of embarrassing truths were uncovered.

Personally, I would love to see how this series would play out in terms of the plot and the actuality of the series. It could be very interesting in terms of the political climate, as Santos is only one of very few congressmen to be ousted from the chamber.

SNL star and gay actor Bowen Yang has portrayed Santos in various episodes of the show, dramatically played the piano and went on to call Santos a “scandal in the wind.” And he is right.
