The Denver Film Society presents its 5th Women+Film Festival: VOiCES 2015 from March 17 to 22 at the sie film Center on east Colfax avenue. This year’s lineup reflects a leap in curation for all areas and features several special events for filmmakers and buffs.
Inspired by the theme of international Women’s Day, which is celebrated globally every March, VOICES showcases high profile, women-centric documentaries, feature films, short subjects, workshops, and symposiums.

Newsom’s 2011 film, Miss Representation, explored the limits women face in media. Her new documentary addresses the flipside of this cultural deficit: the maze of identity issues for boys and young men.
