Tonight at Tracks could be syst-o-matic, hydro-metic, ultro-matic, why it could be greased light’nin.
“Tell me more, tell me more”
Tonight, Friday, November 11, get out to the lounge side of Tracks for a night of heavy bass beats with the Grease crew.
This group of local DJs plays dub and bass music that falls on the deeper, darker side of the spectrum. If you make it out to Tracks to watch them spin, you can expect The Lounge to be a great area to take a break from the frantic pace of the main room to chill out and hear some new tunes.
“When I was brainstorming with some of the other Grease members a year or so back, we all agreed a monthly night where we could all meet up to share experiences and music was ultimately what we wanted to do for ourselves,” David Weimer , aka DJ Berrik, said.
“We wanted a space to express each of our unique styles where we could experiment and grow. So here we are with a night we are planning on making 100 percent about the local producer/DJ. The space, Tracks Lounge, is really cool and small enough for the style and sound Grease is all about, and I am excited to see some familiar faces and some new ones as well.”
It’s on the same night as Ominous, AKA Goth Night, so the deep, dark, and dangerous aesthetic will fit right in with the sounds and sights you are getting down with in the other room.
