Thomas Orlina’s New Track ‘This Time’ Tackles Mental Health

Thomas Orlina

Singer-songwriter and producer Thomas Orlina has released a new pop rock song titled “This Time,” now available on all music platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.

Written to reach an audience that has dealt with anxiety, depression, toxic relationships, and drama while being excited to tackle the future in a more positive direction, “This Time” is intended to uplift and inspire people to move forward and take control of their own narrative.

This is Orlina’s third pop song. Previously, he has released hit like “Brush It Off” and Journey.”

“This song means a lot to me,” the artist says. “I wrote it during a time when I felt I was ready to release past traumas that I had experienced. As people, we all go through tough times in our lives, so it was necessary to have a song like this to provide encouragement and be a reminder to everyone that even though we make mistakes, we can overcome them by doing better this time.”

“This Time” was produced by Luke Villemur and Leandr Rivadull of MELT Music, and co-written by songwriter Christopher Bugna.

A music video for the track is set to release in March for World Teen Mental Wellness Day, which Orlina says is his most personal project yet. Directed by Sophie Peineke, the video depicts Orlina in a new light as an actor battling through a series of emotions such as the pressure of rejection, emotional fears, abuse of alcohol, and more.

The visual is also designed to show that life has its challenges, but it is ultimately up to us to face them and take the steps we need to overcome them. Orlina has been a mental health advocate for years and has always put this subject matter at the forefront of his music and projects.

Orlina is best known for being the star and executive producer of his hit YouTube show, Your Time With Thomas, with nearly 100,000 viewers on his channel worldwide. He has also been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, GLAAD, and many more.
