Stevenson Greene to Lead OUTtv’s Development and Production

OUTtv Media Group (OMG) and L.A’s premier Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) are looking to grow the content pipeline for their recently launched subscription-based VOD platform, OUTtv USA, by hiring on former Viacom executive Stevenson Greene to lead development and production.

In this newly created role, Greene will lead development and production for series, specials, and other original content for OUTtv USA, which is solely focused on LGBTQ storytelling. He will be based at PEG’s headquarters in Burbank, California and report to both PEG partner and talent manager Jacob Slane and OUTtv COO Philip Webb.

Some of the projects Greene will oversee include Nubia, Translation, and the upcoming show starring RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Katya Zamolodchikova, From Katya With Love.

“I am so happy to continue to make queer content with PEG and OUTtv and help elevate those voices,” Greene said. “Joining the PEG and OUTtv teams is amazing. I am really excited to work with them on From Katya With Love and have some fun with this dating format, as well as diving into some real conversations about Black, queer culture with Nubia.”

Previously, Greene was the senior manager of content acquisitions for MTV Entertainment/Viacom and senior manager of original programming for Logo TV. His credits include executive producing  Finding Prince Charming and Food To Get You Laid, as well as serving as a producer on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“Stevenson is an exceptional development executive with a wealth of experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry,” said OMG CEO Brad Danks. “With Stevenson on board, we are looking forward to working in partnership with PEG to elevate OUTtv in the USA and bring LGBTQ programming to an even wider audience.”

“Stevenson is a seasoned, highly-regarded development executive with deep connections to queer entertainment at all levels and will undoubtedly help us carve out a strong presence at OUTtv USA,” Slane added. “We feel incredibly lucky to have him on board.”

OUTtv launched in March 2021 and is available through Apple TV. With hours of LGBTQ content, originals include Group Sext, The Whole Package, My Trans JourneySex & ViolenceDrag Heals and the upcoming drag competition series Call Me Mother.
