Sex Doll Retailer Seeks Partnership with SpaceX

A former aerospace-engineer-turned-entrepreneur who co-founded the largest sex doll retailer in the world with his wife, wants to send companion dolls aboard Elon Musk’s SpaceX to help keep astronauts and the first Mars colonists happy and satisfied.

Sex Doll Genie is a U.S. and European business operated by husband-and-wife team Amit and Janet Stevenson. In a statement regarding their new, cosmic venture, Amit said:

“The purpose of wanting to send companion dolls to space is not sex—most of our customers use love dolls to feel accompanied in lonely situations. What’s lonelier than being in space or on Mars? As an aerospace engineer, I fully understand space travel—it is something I am passionate about and have dedicated a huge chunk of my life too.

“This isn’t about cheapening the profession of astronauts or space exploration in general. Sex doll technology is surprisingly sophisticated, and our production team can custom make asexual dolls just for the purpose of “human presence” to offer a sense of companionship and avoid loneliness.

With a Mars colony no longer the stuff of science fiction but reality, there is a growing need to look at how those first visitors to Mars will find replacements for traditional human companionship. And, the people at Sex Doll Genie believe they’ve got the answer.

The doll retailer currently offers a wide array of life-sized silicon companions which can consist of a whole face body, or just a head, pelvis, or other partial bodies. Sex Doll Genie’s website offers customers to sort through their products by look, manufacturer, or even cup size.

And as if blasting a regular sex doll into space to accommodate human Marsians wasn’t sci-fi enough for you, Sex Doll Genie would like to offer AI (artificial intelligence) dolls to future Mars colonists as well. Not wanting to exclude any astronauts orientation, they would also like to see a mix of male, female, and transgender dolls sent to space, and the impact of their presence measured.
