COBRAH

OFM had the chance to see COBRAH at the Bluebird Theatre on March 5, and let’s just say this queer dance-pop icon had Denver screaming for more. She had crowd bouncing up and down from the moment she walked on stage all the way through her encore, as she played top hits such as “GOOD PUSS,” “U KNOW ME,” “DIP N DRIP,” “BRAND NEW BITCH,” “MAMI,” and many more.

COBRAH, aka Clara Blom Christensen, is a Swedish singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer who began releasing music in 2018 when she released her first single, “IDFKA.” She describes her music style as “goth, queer, scandi realness” and “gay workout music” and recently released her first EP titled SUCCUBUS in 2023. Featuring songs like “FEMININE ENERGY,” “TEQUILA,” and “10/10,” SUCCUBUS was nominated for the Swedish Grammy’s in 2024 under the Electro/Dance category.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community herself, COBRAH’s show rounded up Denver’s queer folks, making it an energy-packed night full of fun and good vibes. She’s also known as the “lesbian queen of the Swedish fetish scene” and said in an interview with Out Magazine that, “it’s an open space for self-liberation and it has helped me indulge and express who I am as an artist without being shamed.”
