Louisiana same-sex marriage ban found constitutional

It would appear that the road to marriage equality just received its first speed bump after a federal judge ruled Louisiana’s same-sex marriage ban constitutional.
U.S. District Court Judge Martin Feldman is the first federal judge to uphold a state’s ban since the striking down of the federal law defining marriage between two opposite sex people in 2013.
Judge Feldman noted that his decision is rather different than the other federal courts decision, and remarked that he was not confident they were on the correct path.
