Looking is Back! Are You Ready?

The boys are back!

Last night, Looking returned for its sophomore season, and this season promises to move a whole lot faster. According to the main man of the series, Jonathan Groff, it will give us all the fast-paced drama we members of the microwave generation seem to crave without losing its slow-paced, storytelling agenda.

Last season, Looking took quite the hit. People said it was slow. People said it was boring. People said everything negative, but was it really that bad? Andrew Haigh created a show that was essentially realistic at heart. I know my life isn’t always SUPER exciting. And if a camera followed you around, I’m sure you’d have a couple of boring episodes, too. Just because it wasn’t flashy lights, glitter, and all the drama possible doesn’t make it all that bad.

But, the creators and writers heard the criticism, and season two already promises that this year will be jam-packed with drama. Patrick and Richie? Patrick and Kevin? Dom and Doris? Dom and Lynn? Agustin and Damien?? Well…we don’t know his name yet, but Daniel Franizese (aka Damien from Mean Girls) seems to be quite the regular this season, we think his name is Eddie and things are heating up quickly between him and Agustin.

After last nights episode, are you ready? Last year if you blinked, well you blinked. This season if you blink, you might actually miss something.
