Envision:You Announces Inaugural Board of Directors

Envision:You, a Colorado nonprofit organization that supports, educates, and empowers LGBTQ individuals to seek help for mental health and substance use disorders, recently announced its inaugural Board of Directors.

Each board member brings a breadth of knowledge from their respective careers in government, academia, public health, wellness, behavioral health, and nonprofits.

“This dynamic group of people coming together to support the mission of Envision:You is humbling,” CEO and co-founder Steven Haden says. “Their expertise will guide our organization as we expand our reach and programs to address the well-being of the LGBTQ community in Colorado, and their commitment speaks to the importance of developing culturally affirming system of care for the LGBTQ community.”

The board members include:

  • Anthony Aragon (he/him/his) – community engagement specialist, Denver Department of Transportation & Infrastructure
  • Syah Taylor (he/she/they) – manger of youth service, The Center on Colfax
  • Kambria Callantine (she/her/hers) – behavioral health counselor
  • Ed Cannon (he/him/his) – professor, University of Colorado Denver
  • Thelma Craig (she/her/hers) – board chair, Colorado Black Health Collaborative
  • Jerry Cunningham (he/him/his) – president and co-founder, Envision:You
  • Steven Haden (he/him/his) – chief executive officer and co-founder, Envision:You
  • Quána Madison (she/her/hers) – artist, mindfulness teacher and arts-based wellness instructor
  • Tanaka Shipp (she/her/hers) – director of education, Collaborative Healing Initiative within Communities

“I am thrilled to work alongside these respected individuals and community leaders who share our passion for addressing the mental health and substance use crisis we are experiencing in the queer community,” co-founder Jerry Cunningham says. “We are on an exciting journey and have our eyes set on creating positive change within our community.”
