Join us on the terrace of Denver’s first Sustainable Park living community the evening of April 24th for a night of art, networking, and live music. This hidden gem in the S*Park community is lined with market lights and fire pits setting the stage for an incredible evening of live music and temporary art galleries.

Beverages will be generously provided by Infinite Monkey Theorem, 14er Brewing, Crazy Mountain Brewing, with hors d’oeuvres and food by Los Chingones.

Denver’s spectacular Queer Business Alliance will be co-hosting our event networking to represent the incredible diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ business community.

A BIT ABOUT OUR WORLD-RENOWN TALENT:

Christopher La Fleur: Christopher La Fleur is a progressive contemporary artist living and working in Denver, Colorado. His work is influenced by narratives rooted in social commentary, nature, and the human condition. By employing highly experimental techniques and a volatile, expressive methodology, he creates unique expressionist artwork which challenges notions of identity and contemporary social norms. Michelle Kohler: Michelle grew up in South Africa and spent 5 years studying fine art at the Hugo Naude Art Institute and completed her bachelors in graphic design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She is a life long traveler, having lived in 5 different countries. She now resides in Colorado. Her life long passion has been portraiture and it is her defining specialty. Her technique combines elements of realism and abstraction. Deconstructed realism is her expression of artistic independence and creativity as it pertains to the depth and complexity of human portraiture. Robyn Frances: Robyn Frances is a Denver-based artist, who specializes primarily in commercial and private murals. In 2018 Robyn founded the arts organization Grow Love International, whose mission is to provide safe creative spaces for youth and female identifying individuals. Robyn also shows her art regularly in and around Denver, currently maintaining active membership with Pirate Gallery, a contemporary artist collective located in Lakewood, Colorado. Her primary focus within her personal art revolves around creating a visual story of the feminine experience regarding sex and sensuality. Oftentimes depicting nude figures on different surfaces including faux fur. Robyn Frances’ love for spreading art and creativity can be felt throughout many Denver communities. Sarah Slaton (of Edison): Sarah is an out singer/songwriter that expresses pathos both poignant and relatable. An Arkansas native, Slaton taught herself to play guitar in the shadow of the Ozarks before eventually making her way out west to Denver. Slaton fronted the Colorado trio Edison, recognized for their tireless touring efforts. Edison has toured with Iron & Wine, opened for Nathaniel Rateliff, Arizona, Langhorne Slim, and Shakey Graves. The band saw critical acclaim with their debut LP, Familiar Spirit (Rhyme & Reason Records), and single “Open Road” celebrating the traveling soul. The LP saw reviews from Consequence of Sound, AfterEllen, Curve Magazine, and features at Daytrotter, SXSW, Jam In The Van, and Relix Sessions, Colorado History: Red Rocks, The Bluebird, Larimer Lounge, Belly Up, Mishawaka Amphitheatre, The Fox Theatre, The UMS, Westword Showcase, NewWestFest. Sarah also will be accompanied by Lief Sjostrom on cello and Sarah Joelle (of Lola Rising) on Keys.

LIPTRUCE cultivates melodically vivid and emotionally sexy music. It crosses between pop-alt and downtempo electronic. LIPTRUCE will ride west to Hollywood this May to record at Echo Bar Studios with Producer and Engineer Bob Horn. Bob has worked with some of the top artists of our nation such as The Neighborhood, Timbaland, Usher and Earth Wind & Fire. You can expect big things from LIPTRUCE starting with the release of their first single in June 2019.
