Envision:You Appoints Two New Board Members

Envision:You

Earlier this year, Envision:You, a Colorado-based organization intended to help fill in the gaps in health disparities for LGBTQ people, announced their new vice president, Brad Barfield. Now the organization has announced that there will be two new members on its board of directors: Jessica Anson and Trent Norman.

In a press release, Envision:You CEO Steven Haden says, “We’re grateful to be welcoming two exceptional leaders to Envision:You’s board of directors and for their commitment to our cause. The addition of Jessica and Trent to our current dynamic group of board members will allow us to move our work forward to improve behavioral health outcomes for members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Trent Norman received his master’s in social psychology from Walden University and bachelor’s degree in English literature from Fort Lewis College. He served as co-director of the Interactive Theater Project, where he conducted more than 1,000 trainings relating to race, class, and gender. After his time as co-director of the Interactive Theater Project, Norman went on to found Affinity Arts Consulting, a company that facilitates diversity, equity, and inclusion training through interactive theater.

Both Anson and Norman recently began serving on Envision:You’s board of directors, where they will each serve a two-year term. Together with recently appointed VP, Brad Barfield, and the other members of the board, Anson and Norman will be able to continue the important work that Envision:You does to support Colorado’s queer community.
