Denver Gay Men’s Chorus Coming to an Event Center Near You!

Denver Gay Men's Chorus

The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus is bringing Holiday cheer to the masses with Haul Out The Jolly, a contemporary holiday concert. With such classics as JS Bach’s Jauchzet Frohlocket and Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, the festivities  don’t end with just the classics. Other selections include Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy, popularized in modern media by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. An exciting new arrangement of Go Tell It On The Mountain will be performed.

According to the website, “The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus has been an LGBTQ catalyst for change through musical excellence since its founding in 1982. With more than 300 concerts during its 41-year history, this 140-member ensemble is now recognized as the premier gay performing arts organization in the Rocky Mountain Region. Through its diverse and socially charged programming, DGMC’s reimagined choir concerts entertain, educate, inspire, and empower audiences to foster acceptance and tolerance throughout the greater Denver area and along Colorado’s Front Range communities.”

Among those angelic-voiced people in the choir is OFM’s very own senior sales and marketing team lead, Quincey Roisum. Thank you for spreading holiday cheer!

The dates and locations that the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus are performing are as follows: Denver’s Central Presbyterian Church on December 1- 3, nightly at 7:30, with the matinee Saturday at 2 p.m. and ASL translation available; Boulder’s First United Methodist Church; Friday, December 9, at 8 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church; and Sunday, December 11, at 3 p.m. Highlands Ranch. This will be a wonderful concert, with a rendition of The Chanukah Song (We Are Lights).

Tickets can be purchased from the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus’ website here. We look forward to the excellent costumes, wonderful vocalizations of new renditions of old songs, and the instrumentals played by the DGMC’s very own band! Join us at the DGMC’s concert, Haul Out The Jolly, starting December first and ending on December eleventh!
