Top 3 Reasons to see Peter and the Starcatcher at the BDT Stage in Boulder

Peter and the Starcatcher is a musical play based on the 2006 novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson and was adapted for the stage by Rick Elice. The play provides a backstory for the character we all know and love, Peter Pan, and serves as a prequel to J. M. Barrie’s Peter and Wendy story.

Peter and the Starcatcher is playing at BDT Stage in Boulder from March 4 to May 14 and here are the top 3 reasons to see the show:

Reason 1: Imagination

The word imagination in and of itself seems to be brimming with magical and limitless possibility. Imagination brings to light a childhood energy and spontaneity that we have all known but may have forgot. Peter and the Starcatcher will most certainly rekindle the power and magic of imagination in those who see it.

Reason 2: Quality

Besides the show being a five time Tony Award-winning play, the BDT Stage remains one of the few highly acclaimed dinner theaters in Colorado, consistently delivering exceptional entertainment value – show after show – year after year!

Reason 3: Mermaids

The cast is a gifted ensemble of talented performers who effortlessly switch from narrating the story to playing any number of different and unforgettable characters; from sailors, pirates and naval officers, to native islanders, captive orphans and even a mermaid or two.
