Grindr the Musical, Anyone?

Gay men love musicals. Yes, that may have been a very VERY broad generalization, but for the most part, I’m gonna stick by that sentence. Anyway … what if they made a musical about Grindr? Would you watch it?

There have already been quite a few clips and jokes circling the interwebs about “Grindr the Musical,” but the latest four-minute viral musical is definitely one of the best, and touches on just about every (maybe not EVERY) weird, silly, or typical conversation you may have had on the gay-friendly app.

Remember that guy that wanted to watch you eat cake naked while he touched himself silently in the corner? Yeah, he’s in there, too!

The stage-worthy short was directed by Outfest 2014 fave Andrew Putschoegl, written by JC Gardiner (Hunter from the hilarious comedy duo Jessica & Hunter), and features music by RuPaul producer Markaholic.

The silly musical will never be in a theater near you, but that’s okay because if you want to experience it, all you have to do is open your app and sing your conversations out loud to yourself. It’s easy.
