Local drag performer Ginger Douglas has officially traded in her view of the Rocky Mountains for the sun, sand and, surf of southern California. A new job opportunity is taking Ginger (Briceson Buck-Ducharme) and his partner, Aaron, to greener pastures in San Diego. Ginger’s annual Apocalyptic Balls have raised thousands of dollars for AIDS Walk Colorado and she will certainly be missed. A farewell show was held at the EXDO Event Center on January 3. Family, friends, fellow divas, and members of the community came out in full force to send Denver’s darling diva off with a bang.
