Haus of Other is throwing a dazzling costume party on Saturday, April 12 to benefit Trans Lifeline, a trans-led organization that connects trans people to the community, support, and resources they need to survive and thrive including peer support and micro grants to assist with legal name and ID changes.
Hosted at Champagne Tiger, the inaugural event invites guests to immerse themselves in the theme “Groundbreaking Florals.” The unforgettable evening will be filled with live performances by Richi Ramos, DJ Buddy Bravo, Vio the Violinist, and performance artist MotherDaddy. The night will further be highlighted with a costume showcase of botanical fashion, a vendor market, and a scavenger hunt with incredible prizes. A portion of the event’s proceeds will directly support Trans Lifeline.

“Blossom & Bloom is rooted in the belief that when nonbinary and trans people embrace their authenticity, they truly blossom and bloom,” says Gary Adrian Randall, Haus of Other founder. “We created this event to celebrate that journey through floral motifs and a night of creativity in support of Trans Lifeline. Trans people are the reason that queer people have any rights at all. We cannot abandon them now.”
Along with Grant Scovel and Nadia Evangelina, Randall assembled House of Other as a creative collective and movement fashioned as a response to the socio-political changes happening in the United States. It’s a way to foster community by giving a creative outlet through monthly craft nights and quarterly themed costume parties.

Blossom and Bloom is a celebration of the “blossoming” of a trans person into their authentic selves and presents a safe space for celebration of all queer people. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to let your creativity bloom on April 12 from 6-11:30 p.m. at Champagne Tiger where art meets activism.
